The design
Inspiration
Drawing inspiration from the Matrix movie series, where a digital realm reveals uncomfortable truths about reality.
Design Decisions
Incorporating a monospace typeface and green glowing elements to infuse a digital aesthetic. Implementing background videos and rounded buttons reminiscent of the iconic "red pill, blue pill" choice in the movie, enhancing the connection to its themes. Utilizing background videos to immerse users in a digital world experience. .
Solutions
While the process of signing up is typically mundane, I sought to introduce innovation by challenging users with simple riddles, transforming the experience into an engaging journey. The final message serves as both a warning and a clue, hinting at the problems plaguing our real world, thereby adding an intriguing layer of depth to the interaction.
The Product
This project successfully captures the essence of the Matrix films, translating their digital universe into a user experience that stimulates curiosity and engagement. Through careful design decisions and inventive solutions, the project effectively transports users into a world that prompts reflection on the interplay between reality and the digital realm.
Additionally, the using of hashed passwords, server session and cookies increase security and shows my commitment to it.
